The Green Bay Women's Club (GBWC) is a volunteer service organization committed to promoting individual growth, relationships among members, and actions to enrich the quality of life for women and children in the Green Bay community. The Christmas Tour of Homes Affiliation The Green Bay Women's Club began as the Junior Women's Club of Green Bay in 1969. It is a member of the Wisconsin Federation of Woman's Club (WFWC) and the national General Federation of Woman's Clubs (GFWC). The GFWC is one of the world's largest and oldest women's volunteer service organizations and is most recognized for establishing 75% of America's public libraries. There are over 6,500 clubs in the U.S., and all are united by a dedication to community improvement through volunteer service. |
